five senses friday

We are back from the hustle bustle of Toronto and getting ready for another trip. This time to the Okanagan to visit grandma and grandpa. We seem to be bringing our summer weather along with us since it hasn’t really come to our own city. This certainly is not a summer of rest for me but still I’m enjoying the adventures. I’ll post an update on our travels next week when things are quieter. Until then, on with the five senses!

seeing: hydro man preparing for a busy day defending the environment at summer camp.

feeling: more tired than I could ever imagine.

hearing: a grumpy old man of a raccoon grunting and scratching but inevitably foiled in his attempts to break into our house at two in the morning!

smelling: peanut butter cookies baking in preparation for the road trip.

tasting: cold coffee. anything to wake me up!
