Well the tooth came out! Good timing on the tooth pillow. And much to my amazement there was little sadness or pain. Thank goodness! After searching the blogosphere for tooth fairy traditions, I think our fairy will provide coins from around the world. We have a bunch of pre-EU coins that would just do the trick. I think there may even be enough for all of the boys teeth. I’m looking forward to the ensuing learning opportunities that will come out of discovering ancient money from other cultures.
I did read about other nice traditions included in Throw Your Tooth on the Roof: Tooth Traditions from Around the World. Might just have to see if our local library has that one. There is a great list of tooth traditions on the Let’s Explore site too.
As you can see, my camera is still not happy but I can’t seem to find my receipt to look into the warranty. I do hope to figure it out soon. Sigh.
In other news, I was featured on the Got Craft blog today. A big welcome and hello to anyone coming from there!
Rob and Andrea are so amazingly organized and involved in the craft community. It is truly a pleasure to participate in their shows and and honour to be featured on their blog! Thanks guys!
